The College Bound Bobcat Club is an informal club designed by Economics Professor Julia Paxton to introduce promising 8th grade middle school students to aspects of college so that they understand more about majors, requirements and student life. Each week, a small group of OU Economics students take the selected group of middle school students on a field trip to different departments at the university where they are able to learn about different majors from some of the most engaging professors on campus and participate in some fun activities.
